Ameena Soliman
Who or what inspired you to work in football?
I spent a lot of time watching the Eagles growing up, and getting the opportunity to work for the team I grew up rooting for has been incredible. Getting to do something I love every day and call it work is a great feeling, and I try my best to not take it for granted each day.
What is the future of representation of women in the NFL?
I look forward to the day that women working in the NFL becomes so common that we don’t need to point it out every time it happens—we’ll just be people who work in the NFL who happen to be women. The Scott Pioli & Family Fund and the Women’s Sports Foundation are two major groups that help women with the resources they need to pursue careers in football, and I am honored to have been selected as a grant recipient in the past.
How Do You Impact Your Team?
As a player personnel coordinator, I work in both the pro and college scouting departments as well as provide assistance to the football operations team. I evaluate pro and college players, help prepare pro scouting advances, and execute various administrative and operations tasks whenever necessary.
