Madden 24 Player Ratings: Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams and Top 10 WRs

Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson edged out the Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill to be the highest-rated wide receiver in Madden NFL 24.

EA Sports announced earlier in the day that Jefferson joined the 99 Club in the newest edition of the video game franchise.

Hill follows closely behind with a 98 overall rating, while Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams is third at the position (97 overall). Adams had been rated 99 overall to lead the way among wideouts this time last year.

Jefferson's status is well earned. He led the NFL in receptions (128) and receiving yards (1,809) in 2022 and has arguably been the most consistent pass-catcher in the league since the Minnesota Vikings selected him 22nd overall in 2020.

The Offensive Player of the Year received perfect ratings in awareness and spectacular catch rating. He garnered 98s in short route-running and overall catch rating.

Hill, meanwhile, didn't disappoint after getting traded to Miami and signing a record-setting four-year, $120 million extension. He set a career high for receptions (119) and trailed only Jefferson in receiving yards (1,710).

The 29-year-old is the only receiver to get perfect ratings in speed and acceleration.

A case could be made Hill's Dolphins teammate Jaylen Waddle was snubbed a bit to fall outside of the top 10. He built on an encouraging rookie season and had 75 receptions for 1,356 yards and eight touchdowns.

The same goes for Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb, who set personal bests across the board (107 receptions, 1,359 yards, nine touchdowns) after the team traded Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns.

Madden NFL 24 ratings will evolve as the 2023 season unfolds. Waddle and Lamb will both have an opportunity to prove their better than their launch ratings.
