Super Bowl week brings a lot of annual traditions. That includes NFL Honors, the yearly awards show that has been held in the Super Bowl host city every year since 2012.
The 2024 edition of NFL Honors is set to take place Thursday night in Las Vegas, where many of football's top stars will congregate to commemorate the past season. There will be presentations of the league's top awards, including NFL MVP.
The event will be hosted by comedian Keegan-Michael Key, who has previously served in the role twice before (2017 and 2022).
Here's everything else you need to know for NFL Honors, along with predictions for which players will receive the top awards.
TV Schedule & Live Stream

Date: Thursday, Feb. 8
Start Time: 9 p.m. ET
Location: Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas
TV: CBS and NFL Network
Live Stream: Paramount+ and NFL+
Offensive Player of the Year

Finalists
Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins wide receiver
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens quarterback
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers running back
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys quarterback
Prediction
While the NFL MVP Award typically goes to quarterbacks, the Offensive Player of the Year honor is more likely to be given to a non-QB player. Either a running back or a wide receiver has won the award in five of the past six seasons, including each of the past four.
With that in mind, McCaffrey is the likely winner of this award for the 2023 season. The 27-year-old RB led the NFL with 1,459 rushing yards and 21 total touchdowns (14 rushing and seven receiving). He also had 67 catches for 564 yards.
The 49ers wouldn't have gone 12-5 during the regular season and earned the NFC's No. 1 seed without the play of McCaffrey. The seven-year NFL veteran will be rewarded for another impressive season.
Defensive Player of the Year

Finalists
DaRon Bland, Dallas Cowboys cornerback
Maxx Crosby, Las Vegas Raiders defensive end
Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns defensive end
Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys linebacker
T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker
Prediction
Unlike the Offensive Player of the Year Award, there's not an obvious front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year. However, it's likely the honor will go to either Watt or Garrett.
Watt, who previously won the award in the 2021 season, led the NFL with 19 sacks in 17 games during the 2023 campaign. Garrett had 14 sacks in 16 games.
Because Watt's numbers are a bit more impressive, the 29-year-old linebacker should win the award for the second time in three years. He continues to rack up sacks in Pittsburgh, where he has regularly been among the league's top defensive players.
NFL MVP

Finalists
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills quarterback
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens quarterback
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers running back
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys quarterback
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers quarterback
Prediction
It's hard to imagine Jackson won't be named NFL MVP for the second time in his six-year career. The 27-year-old quarterback had another strong season while leading the Ravens to an NFL-best 13-4 record during the regular season.
Jackson threw for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 16 games. He also ran for 821 yards and five TDs.
Baltimore was the best team in the league largely because of Jackson. So he'll win NFL MVP over the other strong finalists who are up for the award.
