LSU star wide receiver Malik Nabers reportedly won't run or test at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

#LSU WR Malik Nabers, in contention to be the top WR taken in the NFL Draft, will be at the NFL Scouting Combine for interviews, but won't run or test until his Pro Day on March 27, sources say.

The Athletic's Bruce Feldman previously reported that Nabers may not work out at the combine.

Some players choose not to workout at the combine to avoid injuries that could occur during different events, which could be a reason why Nabers would not participate.

Nabers is considered to be the No. 7 overall player on Bleacher Report's 2024 NFL Draft Board with a grade of 8.8. He is also the second wide receiver on the list, just behind Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr., who is the top player on the board.

Nabers, who spent three seasons at LSU, is the program's all-time leading receiver with 3,003 career receiving yards on 189 receptions. In the 2023 season, he notched 1,569 receiving yards along with 14 touchdowns.

On Bleacher Report's 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Nabers lands at the No. 14 overall pick to the New Orleans Saints. Adding the local player could give New Orleans a much-needed boost on offense to compliment Derek Carr and pair well with wide receivers Michael Thomas and Chris Olave.

"Long-term questions exist regarding Thomas and quarterback Derek Carr," Bleacher Report's Scouting Department wrote on Nabers. "But in the short term, Nabers makes the Saints better. Over the long haul, the local product and Olave would give New Orleans a nightmarish receiving duo to provide an identity."

The combine will take place from Feb. 26 to March 4.
