Despite his ongoing feud with his legendary former teammate Michael Jordan, Basketball Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen still recognizes his greatness.

While speaking on the Today Show in Australia (4:05 mark), Pippen was asked if he considers Jordan to be basketball's GOAT and he didn't hesitate to answer affirmatively.

"Oh, for sure. I mean, you look at the MVPs that he was able to achieve. But I think it was all brought from us being successful as a team. Obviously, someone's gonna bring those accolades home. But yeah, he was the greatest player, definitely, in basketball," Pippen said.

Pippen is in Australia along with fellow former Chicago Bulls stars Luc Longley and Horace Grant after they partnered with Australia's National Basketball League to announce a tour called "No Bull," in which they discuss Jordan, the 1990s Bulls team and the 2020 documentary The Last Dance.

Since the airing of The Last Dance, Pippen hasn't shied away from criticizing Jordan because he felt that the documentary made other Bulls players seem like minor factors in the team's success. He even called LeBron James "the greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball" during a podcast appearance last year.

While Pippen's praise of Jordan this time around is somewhat surprising, Bulls fans should find it heartwarming that he spoke positively about his former running mate.
