Lamar Jackson has shown the magic he can create on a football field, but he is still envisioning what he could do on the soccer pitch.

He posted a photoshopped picture of his head on a U.S. men's soccer player Sunday, with the only descriptor being an excited "goal" call.

He continued by expressing that he could have been among the best in the world if he had decided to pursue a career in professional soccer.

Just sitting here thinking….. I could've been on some Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappé type 💩⚽️

Jackson has hinted to a love of soccer before during the 2022 World Cup final, which Argentina won in penalty kicks over France. He posted admiration of both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, so it's clear that those names continue to stick out to him.

Jackson's talent on the gridiron is incredible. He is a two-time MVP recipient, has been named to the Pro Bowl three-times and has compiled an overall record of 58-19-0 as a starter.

He has thrown for 15,887 yards with 125 touchdowns and 45 interceptions in his career, while also adding 5,258 yards and 29 touchdowns on the ground. His 2023 MVP campaign saw him get 3,678 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns while also adding 821 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.

He led the Ravens in rushing in 2023, and the team itself led the NFL in rushing yards. It's safe to say that he would be able to handle the mobile aspects of soccer, although a 90 minute soccer game is definitely a different type of running than that on the gridiron.

Baltimore fans are certainly happy he pursued a career in football as his heroics have helped the Ravens remain a true contender in the AFC.
