Video: Saquon Barkley's Daughter Asked If He'd 'Win Now' After Giants Exit for Eagles
March 20, 2024
Saquon Barkley's daughter might only be five years old, but even she was aware of the futility her dad endured with the New York Giants.
On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles shared a video detailing Barkley's first full day with the organization. The two-time Pro Bowl running back started talking at the 1:13 mark how his daughter, Jada, came to recognize the Eagles in relation to the Giants.
Upon learning he was signing with Philly, Jada asked, "Does that mean we're gonna win now?"

He appeared to address some of the reaction to the throwaway comment:
The Giants had a winning record just once during Barkley's six years there. They also went 3-10 against Philadelphia across that span between the regular season and playoffs.
You'd think joining the Eagles will help Barkley enjoy more team success, much to the delight of Jada.
