It looks like NFL executives are feeling the hype on Texas Longhorns wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that an executive in attendance at Worthy's Pro Day texted him calling the receiver a video-game like player.

Speaking of Texas wideouts, how about the emergence of Xavier Worthy!

One executive in attendance at his Pro Day texted: "That dude's a video game. Like a 99 speed in Madden! But he's not just a straight line guy. He's twitchy and fluid." https://t.co/8AIf58jfvI pic.twitter.com/HReqrRzqsH

"That dude's a video game," the executive wrote. "Like a 99 speed in Madden! But he's not just a straight line guy. He's twitchy and fluid."

Worthy notably made headlines at the 2024 NFL Combine when he broke the record for the fastest 40-yard dash time with a blazing speed of 4.21 seconds. This broke John Ross' record of 4.22 seconds at the 2017 combine.

Ross would go on to be selected No. 9 at that year's draft, but the tremendous depth among wide receivers at the 2024 draft will likely signal that Worthy doesn't go that high. Still, his collegiate statistics show that he has the potential to be a dynamic player in the NFL.

He had 2,755 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns across three seasons for the Longhorns, with a 1,014-yard, five-touchdown season in 2023. He helped lead Texas to its first College Football Playoff appearance in 2023 and also a Big 12 Championship in the program's last year in the conference.

He is listed as the No. 8 wide receiver in the 2024 class by Bleacher Report's Derrik Klassen.
