After being sent from the Denver Broncos to the Cleveland Browns, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is not backing down from his critics.

Fox Sports analyst Mark Schlereth, who won two Super Bowls with the Broncos in 1997 and 1998, posted a video on social media in which he referred to Jeudy as "a bust" and ripped him for his lackluster tenure in Denver. Jeudy fired back, setting off a tense exchange between them:

Jerry Jeudy⁴ @jerryjeudy

Only if your opinion mattered Hating ass dude #Bagseason 💰💰💰yall go give this lame ass dude some attention. https://t.co/xHmUVPJaPS

Schlereth didn't back down, defending himself when Jeudy questioned his media credentials:

Mark Schlereth @markschlereth

Once again, you're completely incorrect as per usual all I study as coaches film as I have consulted for several NFL teams and get the film from them… Try again https://t.co/G77qCK6jBB

Jeudy responded and called out the older generation of players for the way they act toward the players of today, and Schlereth pointed to his Super Bowl rings:

Mark Schlereth @markschlereth

My old heads, do you mean guys who won championships? https://t.co/gnqtySGsWW

At that point, there wasn't much else left to say, and they both decided to let things lie:

Mark Schlereth @markschlereth

You know I can go for days. I sincerely hope you have a healthy and productive season. If that happens i will gladly have you on my Podcast/ radio show and beg for forgiveness. Prove me wrong young fella. BTW respect the old heads cuz we paved the way 4 u 2 get the bag https://t.co/8kVltd3uQm

The Browns sent 2024 fifth- and sixth-round draft picks to the Broncos in exchange for Jeudy. Cleveland made a long-term commitment to him by signing him to a three-year, $58 million extension with $41 million guaranteed this week.

The 2020 No. 15 pick has yet to record a 1,000-yard season in his four-year career. However, Jeudy still has the potential to be an impact player in his new home, as he will be joining a talented Browns offense that includes quarterback Deshaun Watson, running back Nick Chubb and receiver Amari Cooper.
