Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson had an incredible run on the first day of March Madness, but Friday wasn't as kind to him.

The Texas Longhorns alum escaped the first day of the men's NCAA tournament with a perfect bracket that saw him nail some notable upsets, including No. 11 seed Duquesne's victory over No. 6 seed BYU and No. 14 seed Oakland knocking out No. 3 seed Kentucky.

Unfortunately for Robinson, the magic came to an end Friday, as No. 15 seed Western Kentucky was unable to pull off the upset against second-seeded Marquette. The Golden Eagles won 84-67.

That was a bold pick for Robinson, as only 11 No. 15 seeds have been able to take down a No. 2 seed in tournament history. Still, the Hilltoppers had a chance.

Western Kentucky took a 43-36 lead into halftime and led by as many as eight in the second half. However, a furious second-half surge from Marquette led it to victory and ended Robinson's hopes of a perfect bracket.

He still has shown some great instincts with how long his bracket remained perfect. With that in mind, fans of Auburn, Grand Canyon, Nebraska and many others could be due for some positive news later Friday.
