Georgia running back Trevor Etienne was arrested Sunday morning and charged with four misdemeanors after allegedly driving under the influence.

Radi Nabulsi of UGASports.com shared an image of Etienne's full booking, which shows he was charged with reckless driving, affixing materials that reduce the visibility of his windows and/or windshield, failure to maintain his lane/improper driving and DUI.

Etienne transferred to Georgia in December after spending the past two seasons at SEC rival Florida. He ran for 1,472 yards and 14 touchdowns with the Gators.

Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart is faced with having to replace his top two leading rushers, Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton, with both moving on to the NFL.

Based on his performance in 2022 and 2023, Etienne had been the early favorite to be the starting running back when Georgia opened the season. But while Etienne only joined the program in the offseason, his arrest may not be taken in isolation.

Smart and Georgia administrators have received scrutiny for the number of Bulldogs football players who have been arrested in recent years, with a particular emphasis on traffic-related violations.

It's unclear whether Smart or Georgia officials have been made aware of Etienne's arrest or provided comment.

Connor Riley of DawgNation noted Georgia is scheduled to practice Tuesday, at which time Smart is also expected to address the media.
