Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott may have gone eight seasons without winning a Super Bowl, but team owner Jerry Jones doesn't expect that the streak to last forever.

"I think there are a handful or more of quarterbacks playing who haven't won a Super Bowl that will win a Super Bowl," Jones said Sunday, per David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. "I think Dak is one of them. I'm firm there. He's one of the ones who can."

Prescott has two playoff wins in his career but has never made it past the divisional round.

After the Cowboys' 2023 season ended with a Wild Card loss to the Green Bay Packers, Jones said in February the team would be "all-in" for a title in 2024.

"I would anticipate we will be all-in at the end of this year," Jones said at the February Senior Bowl (h/t CBS Sports' Garrett Podell.) "We will push the hell out of it. It will be going all-in on different people than you've done in the past. We will be going all-in. We've seen some things out of some of the players that we want to be all-in on.

"Yes, I would say that you will see us this coming year not build for the future. It's the best way I've ever said. That ought to answer a lot of questions."

Despite Jones' stated confidence in the Cowboys and Prescott, the team has a few looming questions as to the future of its personnel.

One surrounds Prescott's contract, which is currently set to expire after the 2024 season.

Although the Cowboys recently restructured Prescott's contract to lower his 2024 cap hit, per Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com, the team has yet to settle on an extension for the quarterback.

The Cowboys don't have the ability to franchise tag Prescott. The team risks losing him to free agency, as well as swallowing more than $40 million in dead cap, if they don't agree to an extension before his contract expires.

One question for the Cowboys centers around head coach Mike McCarthy, who will enter the season on an expiring contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Cowboys fans will have to wait and see if Jones has any further answers as to Prescott or McCarthy's future with the team as he attends the ongoing Annual League Meeting slated to take place Sunday through Wednesday in Orlando, Florida.
