To answer the question, yes, they certainly could, although that doesn't take away from some of the great moments and matches that went down on Day 1 of WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia.
The wrestling highlight of the night may have been Sami Zayn ending Gunther's 660-day streak as Intercontinental champion with his family watching. Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch also delivered a great match, with the former wrestler continuing her sheer dominance in the ring.
Jade Cargill announced her presence in WWE by showcasing her own power in a six-woman tag match.
Philadelphia Eagles legends Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson showed up in luchador masks to help Rey Mysterio and Andrade beat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar.
Lil Wayne appeared in Philadelphia, accompanying Jey Uso in the ring before he beat his brother Jimmy.
R-Truth also enjoyed his WrestleMania moment, becoming a tag team champion at age 52.
To cap the night, The Rock and Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a match that wasn't short on drama and jaw-dropping moments.
Of course, six matches still remain, capped by Rhodes facing Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Here's a quick look at the best of what's gone down thus far and an opinion on what's ahead.

Night 2 Card
A Look Back at Saturday

Sami Zayn's epic win over Gunther arguably served as the night's best in-ring showing, getting great reviews from Bleacher Report (A-), CBS Sports (A+) and Sporting News (A+). Gunther is one of the best in-ring performers in the sport today, and his title reign was certainly well-deserved. Zayn stood up to the task and then some en route to his well-earned, and clean, victory.
Rhea Ripley's victory against Becky Lynch was also noteworthy. Chris Mueller of B/R explained why.
"This was the perfect match to put in the opening spot if it wasn't going to be in the main event," Mueller wrote. "Both Superstars did an excellent job making every near-fall count and selling every big move."
Ripley's title reign is now also over one year. She's taken on some of wrestling's best talents during that time, beginning with her victory over Charlotte Flair to earn her belt. Saturday just further cemented her rise and excellence.
Of course, the tag team match deserves recognition as well.
Highlights included Rollins and Rhodes' double pedigrees, Rhodes using The Rock's own finisher on him through the announce table, Reigns accidentally spearing the Rock and the finish, which saw the Rock land the Rock Bottom and People's Elbow on Rhodes for the win.
Moments-wise, R-Truth winning the Raw tag titles with The Miz was heartwarming, to say the least. He's arguably one of the funniest performers in WWE history, but he's earned his respect in the ring as well. On Saturday, he brought the comedic moments (e.g. going for a pin in a ladder match, getting a hot tag) and emerged victorious as well.
Then there were celebrity cameos, with Lil Wayne bringing out Jey Uso and Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson playing to their home crowd at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles.
Overall, it was a solid night for WWE.
A Look Ahead to Sunday

Obviously, the main event brings the most hype and hope. Unsurprisingly, this match will be held with Bloodline rules (no disqualification), so it's inevitable that the Bloodline is going to have its say in how this goes.
The Rock will assuredly make an appearance at some point, bringing more intrigue to the table. The biggest question is whether Rhodes finally gets to complete his story, which seemed like it would be the case last year before Reigns beat him at WrestleMania.
It's certainly possible Reigns beats him again. The expectation is that Rhodes finally gets it done, but there's been plenty of twists and turns to this storyline along the way. Perhaps another twist is in the mix, but the ending here brings a tremendous amount of hype and shouldn't be boring.
Outside of the main event, there's certainly a lot to take in. The red-hot LA Knight is making his WrestleMania debut versus AJ Styles. Logan Paul is taking on Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in a match that could very well feature the best wrestling of the weekend.
A battle of former friends-turned-foes is going down when Iyo Sky defends the Women's Championship against Bayley. All eyes will be on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and his ability to defend the title versus Drew McIntyre after suffering a left knee injury in the tag team match on Night 1. Then there's also the Six-Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight match, where all hell could break loose.
All five matches before the main event bring varying levels of intrigue, but the Rhodes-Reigns-Rock drama has been the Sun in the WWE solar system for months.
If the final match delivers on the tremendous hype, then yes, Sunday's events can absolutely best Saturday's.
