Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark celebrated a major occasion as she prepares for her first season in the WNBA.

She posted on Instagram on Wednesday that she and boyfriend Connor McCaffery have been together now for one year.

"You make everyday better and I can't wait for many more adventures together… love you," she wrote in the caption.

McCaffery honored their anniversary as well. He told Clark that "you never cease to amaze me" and expressed excitement with her now embarking on her pro career.

The couple met in college at Iowa.

Clark's exploits with the Hawkeyes have been well publicized. She left as a two-time national player of the year and the all-time scoring leader in Division I history.

McCaffery, meanwhile, spent six seasons playing under his father, Fran. In 166 career games, he averaged 4.5 points and 3.2 assists.

The Fever winning the 2024 draft lottery was fortuitous. McCaffery had already accepted a job with the Indiana Pacers by that point, so they had Indianapolis well scouted out by the time Clark was holding up her Fever jersey on draft night.
