Travis Kelce signed a new two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, a deal that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the game.
But he's dating Taylor Swift, so social media focused its meme powers on that relationship:
It's been a pretty good day for the Kelce family. Travis' older brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce—who retired this offseason after a career that will almost assuredly land him in the Hall of Fame someday—reportedly agreed to a deal with ESPN to serve as an analyst on the network's Monday Night Football pregame show, per The Athletic's Andrew Marchand.
And it's been a good year for Travis Kelce. All he's done in 2024 is win his third Super Bowl title, begin dating Swift, watched as his podcast with his brother became part of the cultural zeitgeist, became a regular presence in the world of entertainment and got a very nice raise.
Not too shabby.
