Shawn Michaels Invites Kendrick Lamar and Drake to WWE After Shout Out in Diss Track
May 6, 2024
After getting a shoutout from Kendrick Lamar in one of his diss tracks aimed at Drake, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is offering the two of them a chance to settle things in the squared circle.
Michaels took to social media to invite Drake and Kendrick to this week's episode of WWE NXT, and he even offered to play the mediator in their ongoing beef:
Shawn Michaels @ShawnMichaelsA little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way.<a href="https://twitter.com/kendricklamar?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@kendricklamar</a>, you and <a href="https://twitter.com/Drake?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@Drake</a> are formally invited to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/WWENXT?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#WWENXT</a> to settle this thing. I'm even offering my services to mediate. <a href="https://t.co/tN02NLq36X">https://t.co/tN02NLq36X</a>
Kendrick made a reference to Michaels in his song "Not Like Us," rapping, "Put the whole label on me, I'ma get 'em dropped, Sweet Chin Music and I won't pass the aux."
Michaels famously feuded with another famous Canadian, as his rivalry with the legendary Bret Hart lasted for years both in and out of the ring.
It's unlikely Drake and Kendrick will take Michaels up on his offer, but a WWE ring could be the perfect environment for them to settle their differences.
