The Miami Dolphins will have a younger pass rush in 2024 thanks to their NFL draft approach.
First-round pick Chop Robinson should see plenty of snaps from the start of the season, while fifth-round selection Mohamed Kamara could make an instant impact as well.
Miami needed to add some defensive line depth after Christian Wilkins left in free agency, and while Robinson and Kamara are not direct positional replacements for Wilkins, they can cover up the hole left by the defensive tackle.
A lot of focus will be on the draft picks in the Miami defense at the start of the season, but one offensive player should shine through by the end of the season.
Running back Jaylen Wright may not earn a ton of snaps, but he could make a few highlight reels with his speed.
Chop Robinson

Miami's first-round pick needs to make an immediate impact on the defense.
Robinson recorded 17.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in his last two seasons as one of the key components of the Penn State defense.
The Dolphins do not need him to be the primary pass-rusher, but they need him to contribute pressures right away.
Miami may rely more on Robinson in the early weeks of the season as Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips work back to 100 percent following their season-ending leg injuries in 2023.
The Dolphins will try to plug the hole left by Wilkins with different players, but if Robinson contributes a few sacks and TFLs early, he can at least help absorb some of the pressure put on Wilkins' direct replacements.
Mohamed Kamara

Kamara was Miami's fourth pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but he could end up making the second-biggest impact of the draft class.
Offensive tackle Patrick Paul is not guaranteed a starting spot and could be more of a project, while Wright is the No. 3 running back at best to start the 2024 campaign.
Kamara comes into the NFL off a monster season at Colorado State in which he totaled 17 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.
He had two consecutive years in the Mountain West with at least 16 TFLs and eight sacks.
The high level of production in the pass-rush makes Kamara an intriguing fit inside the Dolphins defense.
Kamara could be used specifically in long-yardage and third-down situations to start to put together high TFL and sack totals at the NFL level.
Jaylen Wright

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel loves speed.
The Dolphins have oodles of speed in their offense with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane.
Mostert and Achane's presence in the rushing game will be the reason why Wright does not play immediately.
However, there could be a few calls in the playbook made up for Wright so that the Dolphins can exploit the third-round pick's speed.
Wright improved his receiving skills in his last season at Tennessee. He went from two to 22 receptions.
The improved pass-catching skills should get him on the field in some packages, and if gets going in space, he has the potential to break a few big plays in his rookie season.
