May 28, 2024
Xbox announced Tuesday Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass on the day it's released worldwide.
A new trailer accompanied the news and seemingly confirmed rumors the game takes place in the 1990s amid the Gulf War and/or its aftermath. World leaders from that era are portrayed in the minute-long clip:

The first teaser trailer on May 23 offered little in the way of details. It depicted vandals breaking into Mount Rushmore and hanging banners reading "the truth lies" over the famous monument.
Another video dropped Monday that implored viewers to "stop being sheep and become wolves" while interspersing public remarks from former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
The release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9. Gamers will also get to learn additional information about the next installment in the popular series at that time.
