Formula 1 Racing star Lewis Hamilton is known for his dominance on the racetrack, but that hasn't stopped some people from challenging the legendary driver.

During an appearance on Hot Ones, Hamilton was asked what happens when fans notice him driving alongside them and he said he's had some instances where they attempt to test his skills.

"I've had people be at a traffic light and want to race, yeah," Hamilton said around the 17:00 mark. "And definitely when I was young, like I'd felt like, 'Alright... gonna smoke this fool.'"

Hamilton is the winningest Formula 1 driver ever with seven World Drivers' Championships, 103 wins and 197 podium finishes. While he would surely have no problems holding his own in a street race, he said he's actually been subjected to more aggression from other drivers.

"I've had a lot of road rage because I often actually when I'm casually driving and not going somewhere for work or anything like that, I'm cruising, so most people are more in a rush than I am," Hamilton said. "So, I get a lot of road rage."

Hamilton went on to reveal the places where he's had most of his road rage experiences.

"I find in America, they're very quite aggressive. In L.A., I find them quite aggressive," Hamilton said. "New York is really aggressive. ... Yeah, people are pretty bad here. And then in Switzerland, they're really aggressive in the German-Swiss part. Yeah, they're like, crazy."

Hamilton is gearing up to compete in the Canadian Grand Prix on June 9, so if you see him in the street, it's probably best not to challenge him, as he will surely be ready to add another win to his lengthy list of victories.
