Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo Anthony, says he is planning visits to Auburn, Ohio State and Indiana as he decides where to play college basketball.

Joe Tipton of On3 spoke to Anthony, who is among the highest-profile names in the 2025 high school class. He is considered a 4-star prospect and No. 39 overall prospect by 247Sports.

Indiana has long been a school to watch for Anthony given his existing relationship with coach Mike Woodson, who also coached Carmelo Anthony with the New York Knicks. Kiyan Anthony has called Woodson a "Godfather" figure in his life. Landing Anthony would be a major boost for Woodson's program, which failed to make the NCAA tournament last season and has three straight seasons with 12 or more losses.

As the Big Ten expands next season to include UCLA, USC, Washington and Oregon, Woodson will need to rebuild fast if Indiana wants to avoid becoming an also-ran in the conference.

Ohio State's program is in a bit of flux as well. Jake Diebler is heading into his first year as the full-time head coach and is a completely unproven name leading a program. He was Chris Holtmann's lead assistant before taking over the job on an interim basis last season after Holtmann was fired.

The Buckeyes went 8-3 under Diebler, leading to him getting the full-time job, but it's fair if Anthony wants to wait and see how the first-year coach does before making his decision.

Auburn is a relative bastion of consistency by contrast. Bruce Pearl has been at the program since 2014 and has the Tigers competing for an SEC championship on a relatively consistent basis. NCAA tournament success has not followed, but Anthony knows exactly what he's getting in Pearl.
