ANAHEIM, CA - MAY 01: Philadelphia Phillies Second base Bryson Stott (5) gives Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper (3) a high five after the MLB game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on May 1, 2024 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, CA. The Philadelphia Phillies' Bryce Harper and Bryson Stott are doing their best to ingratiate themselves to fans in London.

During batting practice, Harper showed off a bat that features the Phillie Phanatic dressed like a member of the King's Guard. Stott's piece of lumber was plastered with the London Underground logo:

Not to be outdone, New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor commissioned his own customized bat:

The Phillies and Mets have a pair of games scheduled at the London Stadium over the next two days. It's the third installment of the London Series, which started in 2019 and only returned in 2023 amid an interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The matchup probably sounded a little better before this season got underway. While Philadelphia owns the best record in MLB (44-19), New York is fourth in the National League East and the subject of regular consternation in the Big Apple.

Once again pitting two divisional rivals against one another has at least created some unintentional comedy. Who doesn't love simultaneously supporting both the Mets and Phillies?

If you traveled to London for the game and didn't manage to find a soccer-inspired half-and-half scarf, did you even go?

Harper and Stott will certainly have some keepsakes from their trek overseas.
