Men's College World Series Prediction

KNOXVILLE, TN - JUNE 09: Tennessee Volunteers celebrate winning the NCAA Men's Baseball Super Regional game between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Evansville Aces on June 9, 2024, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, TN. (Photo by Bryan Lynn/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images)

The Tennessee Volunteers have been among the hottest offenses in college baseball.

Seven players have blasted double-digit home runs, led by Christian Moore's 32.

Moore leads the team in OPS with 1.249 while Blake Burke leads the team in batting average with .376.

The team also has 13 players with double-digit RBIs.

Entering Bracket 1 play, Florida State is their toughest competition.

The Seminoles have an equally explosive offense, which was on full display in a historic 24-run performance against UConn in super-regional action. They will be able to score alongside Tennessee, making them a threat to stunt the Volunteers' pursuit of a championship.

Tennessee has been consistently explosive all season and cashed their ticket to this tournament with a 31-run performance across three games against Evansville. They have scored double-digit runs in 30 of their victories this season.

While the team's pitching has been beaten up on a few occasions, its ability to overcome deficits with the swing of a bat makes them a clear favorite to emerge as champion.

Bracket 2 has a few solid contenders, led by the Kentucky Wildcats, a team that touts a victory over Tennessee this season, but the Volunteers still feel like the class of this year's tournament.

Tennessee won the season series against Kentucky and there is no reason to believe that, should they meet again, they will not replicate that outcome.

    Prediction: Tennessee
