Video: Jeff Ross Jokes Tom Brady Deserves Nobel Peace Prize for Doing Netflix Roast

Comedian Jeff Ross thought New England Patriots legend Tom Brady more than did his part during his Netflix comedy roast.

"Tom Brady should get a Nobel Peace Prize for taking those hits," Ross told TMZ Sports. "... He took the hits so we can all forget about our problems for a few hours."

The implication from Ross is that not all subjects of a roast are as accommodating as Brady. Asked about building a similar event around Tiger Woods, for example, the comedian said the 15-time major champion "would be epic" before asserting "he's probably too sensitive."

If given the opportunity to go back in time, Brady might have felt similarly.

During a May appearance on The Pivot Podcast (via ESPN's Mike Reiss), the former quarterback said he didn't envision how others in his family would respond to him being the butt of so many jokes.

"I loved when the jokes were about me," he said. "I thought they were so fun. I didn't like the way it affected my kids.

"So it's the hardest part; the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and all of a sudden you realize 'I wouldn't do that again' because of the way it affected, actually, the people I care about the most in the world."

The roast may have had some collateral damage as well.
