WNBA Fans Love Angel Reese Blowing a Kiss to Crowd After FT vs. Caitlin Clark, Fever

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese appeared to have some fun with the Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd during Sunday's game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.
After hitting a free throw midway through the second quarter, she turned and blew a kiss to the fans who had been attempting to rattle her at the charity stripe.
Plenty of fans on social media loved Reese giving it right back to the spectators:

The No. 7 overall pick clearly expected to get a frosty reception in Indianapolis. For the game, she had a pair of Joker-themed sneakers commissioned.
Reese has also come to terms with how others have framed her, especially in contrast to Clark given their shared history and the likelihood of a long rivalry between them in the WNBA.
"I'll take the 'bad guy' role, and I'll continue to take that on and be that for my teammates," she told reporters in early June. "โฆ I'll look back in 20 years and be like, 'Yeah, the reason why [we're] watching women's basketball is not just because of one person.' It's because of me, too, and I want y'all to realize that."
Reese's performance on the court is doing plenty of talking on its own. Entering Sunday, she was averaging 12.2 points and 10.0 rebounds and reeled off five straight double-doubles.
Her trash talk only makes her a more compelling figure, and women's basketball as a whole is better for it.
