Jordan Love will enter his second season as the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback with his off-the-field life being a bit more settled.
The 25-year-old announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Ronika Stone, on an Instagram post that he captioned "first step to forever."
Love is entering his fifth season with Green Bay, but it will be just his second as the team's main signal-caller. His first season as the starter was a strong one, as he threw for 4,159 passing yards and 32 touchdowns while leading the Packers to a 9-8 record and a postseason berth.
The Packers would end up defeating the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card round but would fall to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round. While the season did not result in a championship, it was a solid showing from a team that had missed out on the postseason in 2022 and was seemingly in a retooling stage.
Now, the window of contention appears to be open and Love will hope to lead the Packers to a Super Bowl before he officially ties the not with Stone.
