Video: Patrick Mahomes' Adidas 'Mahomes 2' Shoes Hang from Tower Bridge in London

Patrick Mahomes and Adidas utilized a London landmark to promote his new shoe.

The two-time MVP is launching a new football cleat with Adidas, and the marketing effort was taken to a new level. For the international promotion, Mahomes and Adidas found a way to use the legendary Big Ben and Tower Bridge in London and displayed a giant version of his new shoe on the landmark.

The shoe is called the Mahomes 2 "Race Against Time." It is the third shoe in the Mahomes 2 line, with the first paying homage to his Super Bowl LVIII and the second being dubbed the "Off Screen" model.

The "Race Against Time" shoe has a dominant red color with black as the secondary color. This fits the color scheme of Texas Tech, his alma mater, and the red also fits the Chiefs.

Mahomes is heading into his eighth season and has had a dominant start to his professional career. He has been named to six Pro Bowls, earned two All-Pro selections and has led Kansas City to three Super Bowl victories and four appearances.

This includes the last two Super Bowls, and the Chiefs will head into 2024 with hopes to become the first team to three=peat since the 1965-67 Green Bay Packers.

While he will soon head to Chiefs training camp, he will also look for further cleat promotion before the season takes his focus.
