Andy Reid, Hardman, More to Make Cameos in Hallmark Channel's Chiefs Christmas Movie
July 11, 2024
A handful of Kansas City Chiefs' members will make their acting debuts this year.
The team announced Thursday that head coach Andy Reid, wide receiver Mecole Hardman and guard Trey Smith will be among those featured in the Chiefs' upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie.
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story will also include running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, defensive end George Karlaftis and others to be announced later. A handful of notable actors like Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle and Christine Ebersole will star in the movie.
Kansas City also announced that Chiefs fan and red carpet correspondent Taylen Biggs will make a special appearance.
The movie, which is set in Kansas City, will tell the story of a family full of Chiefs fans hoping to win the team's "Fan of the Year" contest. Like any good Hallmark movie, some Christmas a love story and some Christmas magic will be at the forefront of the plot.
The movie will be released later this year as part of the 15th anniversary of Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas.
In the meantime, Kansas City will look to finish the offseason strong as it prepares to go for a historic three-peat after winning another Super Bowl last season. The Chiefs have won three Super Bowls in the past five seasons, including back-to-back championships over the last two years.
