2024 MLB All-Star Game Lineups Unveiled for Shohei Ohtani, NL vs. Aaron Judge, AL

The starting lineups for the American League and the National League in the 2024 MLB All-Star Game were officially revealed on Monday.

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge will be hitting cleanup for the American League after racking up 34 home runs in his first 96 games of the season. He'll be directly behind Yankees teammate Juan Soto in the batting order.
As for the National League, Shohei Ohtani will be hitting at the No. 2 spot in the lineup after starting off his Los Angeles Dodgers career with a .316/.400/.635 slash line in 94 appearances.
While the starters for both teams were already set, the batting order for each squad was unknown.
The decision to utilize Steven Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians as the American League's leadoff hitter isn't a large surprise, as he's recorded an incredible .352 batting average to begin his 2024 campaign.
Baltimore Orioles infielder Gunnar Henderson should also be a strong candidate to get on base and help the AL team get on the board early, as his 78 runs scored are the most in the majors.
Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper will be hitting cleanup for the National League, with the 31-year-old hitting 21 homers and 61 RBIs in 81 games to open the season. Harper and Judge earned the first two starting spots in the All-Star Game by receiving the most votes from fans in the first round of balloting.
The Phillies' first baseman will also hit behind one of his teammates in the batting order, with shortstop Trea Turner in the No. 3 spot after hitting .349 in 57 games during his 2024 season.
Ohtani should thrive in his spot in the lineup, as 19 of his 29 home runs in 2024 have occurred in games when he opens up at No. 2 in the order for the Dodgers (via Baseball Reference).
The 2024 MLB All-Star Game will be held on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
