Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker teased the new "Pretty Penny" colorway of his signature shoe, the Nike Book 1, in a Friday post on Instagram.
The new shoe is inspired in part by Booker's 1959 Chevy Impala.

Booker joined Nike as a signature athlete in September 2023. The brand has since released a series of Book 1 colorways including "Triple Black," "Cool Grey" and "Forrest Gump" themes.
The Phoenix star has now teased multiple new Nike Book 1 colorways while preparing to represent Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Earlier this week the Suns shared images of the guard wearing a new blue and white colorway.
Booker's newest colorway drew inspiration from the "Christmas/Copper" Nike KD 4, the Kevin Durant signature sneaker originally released in 2011.
The "Christmas/Copper" Nike KD 4 is now set for a re-release during the 2024 holiday season.
Booker, who has described himself as a "classic car collector," arrived for Game 1 of the 2021 NBA Finals driving "Pretty Penny."
This is not the first time Booker's vintage cars have been described as an inspiration for a shoe line made in his name.
Booker in July 2023 launched a collaboration with Converse, the Devin Booker Chuck 70 shoes. Rather than the Chuck Taylor logo on the right heel, the shoe displayed a logo inspired by the license plate of "Pretty Penny."
Later that year, Boardroom's Nick DePaula reported that both "Pretty Penny" and Bookers' 1972 Chevy Blazer "Uncle Larry" served as inspirations for the original Nike Book 1,
"Partly inspired by Booker's love of classic cars, some fully revamped under the hood with modern engines, Nike took on a similar approach for the Book 1, powering in performance from within," DePaula wrote.
Fans may get to see the new "Pretty Penny" colorways in action as USA Basketball continues its exhibition schedule with a Saturday game against South Sudan in London.
