Klay Thompson seems to be in good spirits about his former team after he left the Golden State Warriors for the Dallas Mavericks this offseason.

The veteran sharpshooter reacted to a viral video comparing the first matchup between the Warriors and Mavericks this season to the movie You Got Served, posting the video on his Instagram story and saying "I'm crying!"

The video shows a dance-off between two characters who are supposed to be Draymond Green and Steph Curry before panning to a trio that is labeled as Thompson, Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving.

Whether the matchup between the Mavs and Dubs will be similar to the clip from the movie is to be determined, but Thompson at least found some humor in it.

It will be interesting to see how Thompson performs in a new team after spending more than a decade in Golden State. With the Warriors, Thompson and Co. found plenty of success, winning four championships, but ultimately Thompson felt it was time to move in a different direction.

He'll now play for a team fresh off an NBA Finals appearance and will be looking to help them hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy next June.

For the Warriors, they'll hope Thompson's departure doesn't set them back too much after missing the playoffs last season.
