WWE head of creative Triple H announced Thursday that Survivor Series: WarGames will be held in Vancouver later this year.

Just spoke with our friends <a href="https://twitter.com/MyVancouver?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@MyVancouver</a> and can officially announce that <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SurvivorSeries?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SurvivorSeries</a>: WarGames is headed to <a href="https://twitter.com/RogersArena?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@RogersArena</a> in Vancouver on November 30.<br><br>You're not going to want to miss this... <a href="https://t.co/EGVrkrqEK8">pic.twitter.com/EGVrkrqEK8</a>

The event will take place at the Vancouver Canucks' Rogers Arena on Saturday, Nov. 30, which is two days after American Thanksgiving.

This will mark the first time Survivor Series has been held in Vancouver and only the third time it has ever emanated from north of the border in Canada.

Aside from WrestleMania, Survivor Series is WWE's longest-running premium live event with the first edition of the show being held in 1987.

Ten years after Survivor Series debuted, it was held in Canada for the first time. Survivor Series 1997 in Montreal proved to be one of the most infamous wrestling events of all time due to the Montreal Screwjob involving Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.

Survivor Series would return to the Great White North in 2016 when Goldberg came out of retirement and beat Brock Lesnar in the main event in Toronto.

The signature match of Survivor Series used to be the traditional Survivor Series elimination match with teams of four or five facing off, but that has changed in recent years.

Upon initially taking over as the chief creative voice in WWE in 2022, Triple H changed Survivor Series to Survivor Series: WarGames and headlined the show with a five-on-five WarGames match.

That was the case once again last year, and all signs point toward a WarGames match being the main event later this year as well.

While the participants remain to be seen, it would make a ton of sense for The Bloodline to be involved in some form or fashion.

During Roman Reigns' absence from WWE, Solo Sikoa has taken control of The Bloodline and molded it in his vision by bringing in Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

If Reigns returns Saturday at SummerSlam as many have speculated, perhaps he could put together a team to contest Solo and Co. at Survivor Series: WarGames.
