The Paris Olympics picked back up on Saturday morning, and we're nearing the end of group play in both men's and women's basketball. The final men's games will take place on Saturday, while women's group play will conclude on Sunday.

Saturday will also bring some action in the women's 3x3 tournament. Fans will see group play early in the day with play-in matchups in the afternoon.

Of course, many fans will be tracking the United States men's team as it returns to the court for its final group matchup against Puerto Rico. Team USA, led by LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and other NBA stars, will look to enter the knockout stage with an unblemished record.

Here's a look at what to expect on Saturday.

The day will open with traditional play in the women's bracket. China and Puerto Rico will face off in the early morning with Serbia taking on Spain shortly thereafter. The Serbia-Spain matchup will be an exciting one to watch, though the game will ultimately mean little.

Each group sends its top two teams to the knockout stage, and both Serbia and Spain are currently undefeated. A 2-1 record will be good enough to send either team to the next round.

Fans will also see 3x3 play in the women's bracket. Once group play has finished, the top two teams in the eight-team pool will automatically advance to the semifinals. The bottom two teams will be eliminated, while the four middle-of-the-pack squads will compete for the final two semifinal spots.

The semifinals are scheduled for Monday. The final pool games and play-in contests for men's 3x3 will take place on Sunday.

The final bit of drama in the men's traditional group stage will unfold on Sunday as well. Team USA has already secured its spot in the next round, but will look to end group play on a high note.

While Puerto Rico is one of the more underwhelming teams in the tournament, the United States won't take the opposition lightly.

"Yeah, we talked with (the players) about it this morning, showed them the standings, showed them the point differential. We want the No. 1 seed," U.S. coach Steve Kerr said on Friday, per The Athletic's Joe Vardon.

The U.S. team should secure the No. 1 overall seed with a win and a large point differential—it currently has a differential of +43 points—which would provide, in theory, the easiest matchup in the quarterfinals.

Serbia, led by NBA superstar Nikola Jokić, will look to secure the second playoff spot in Group C—and the final playoff spot overall—against South Sudan. The two teams share a 1-1 record, so the winner of the head-to-head matchup will make the quarterfinals.

Serbia would appear to have the edge as it features arguably the best player in the world. Jokić and Co. also looked like legitimate quarterfinal threats against Puerto Rico after a decisive loss to Team USA.

"For you to beat a champion, you really have to play above your expectation to really have a chance to win the game," Serbia's Filip Petrusev said on Wednesday, per Kyle Hightower of the Associated Press. "But tonight we really came to play. ...But we need one more."

The winner of Sunday's men's finally will automatically join Team USA in the quarterfinals.
