Over the years, Oregon has released some of the most iconic jerseys in college football.

The Ducks added to their deep collection of threads on Friday, revealing the "Generation O: Mighty Oregon" uniforms. The new uniforms are inspired by those worn by legendary wide receiver Pat Johnson, who made "The Catch" against Washington in 1997.

The uniforms feature a gold helmet, white jerseys and gold pants, also displaying the Fighting Duck logo.

Oregon's unveiling of the "Mighty Oregon" uniforms on Friday marks the second uniform release of the offseason. In June, the Ducks revealed their "Fly Era" uniforms, which feature an all-black look with green and silver hits throughout.

Oregon will now enter the 2024 season in style and will look to make a mark in its first year in the Big 10.

The Ducks, along with Washington, USC and UCLA, made the transition from the Pac-12 to the Big 10 this offseason, and each school is hoping to prove it belongs in one of the toughest conferences in college football.

Oregon has been trending upward since Dan Lanning took over as head coach, going 10-3 in his first year in 2022 before improving to 12-2 last year. The Ducks fell just short of reaching the College Football Playoff last season, but have all the makings of a championship-contending team this season.

Oregon added big names out of the transfer portal such as quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Dante Moore along with wide receiver Evan Stewart. With those new additions, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Ducks reach the CFP.
