Matt Kuchar Finishes Wyndham Championship Alone on Monday; Latest FedEx Cup Standings

Matt Kuchar has finally finished his round at the Wyndham Championship.
The 46-year-old elected to finish his final round of the tournament on Monday due to darkness on the final hole on Sunday night. He had teed off on the 18th hole but chose to delay to Monday in order to make a leisurely decision about his approach shot.
He would par the 18th hole and finish the tournament 11-under. This put him in a tie for 12th place and he took home $135,000.
He also moved up 10 spots to the No. 103 ranking in the FedEx Cup Standings. .

While Kuchar's performance was not enough to get him into next week's St. Jude Championship, it does put him in a more comfortable position to maintain his tour card
The decision to delay the end was controversial, as he had no chance at winning and his delay caused the tournament to not officially end until he finished his round. He also had no chance to qualify for the St. Jude Championship, so the only true benefit he had from the delay was finishing the tournament on a high note.
Still, his move was legal and now he can begin preparing for the next PGA season.
Aaron Rai was the winner of the event, finishing 18-under.
