Video: Titans' Will Levis, Hellmann's Unveil Ad For Mayonnaise-Scented Fragrance
August 13, 2024
More than two years after a viral video showed Will Levis drinking coffee after pouring mayonnaise into it, the Tennessee Titans quarterback is finally getting his own mayo-scented fragrance.
Hellmann's Mayonnaise announced on Tuesday the release of Will Levis No. 8, Parfum de Mayonnaise.
Since the response from some fans was to assume this was a joke, Hellman's clarified it is very real.

Here is the official description of Will Levis No. 8, Parfum de Mayonnaise:
"At the heart of the fragrance lies a creamy, daring mayonnaise accord offering a smooth and complex heart. Parsley adds a fresh herbal element, reminiscent of a well prepared dish. And of course, this fragrance would not be complete without subtle coffee undertones, reminiscent of Will's signature mayonnaise infused caffeine beverage. A sensual musk base weaves through the composition, evoking physicality and charisma. Finally, we finish off with a comforting creamy vanilla finish that is equal parts inviting and intriguing."
In addition to the benefit of being able to smell like mayonnaise 24-7, the custom scent is cost-affordable. A 30 ml bottle only costs $8, so why would anyone ever want to spend a few hundred on fragrances by Tom Ford or Dior ever again?
It didn't take long for fans to jump on such a bargain, with the fragrance quickly selling out on Hellmann's website:
Prior to his senior season at Kentucky in 2022, Levis caught everyone off guard by pouring mayonnaise into a cup of coffee and drinking it.

Levis later clarified after being drafted by the Titans in April 2023 that his mayo-filled coffee was a joke and not something he does regularly. He did parlay that moment into a sponsorship deal with Hellmann's that guarantees him a lifetime supply of the condiment.
When he's not putting mayonnaise on his food or beverages, Levis is preparing for his first full season as Tennessee's starting quarterback. He had a promising rookie season with 1,848 passing yards, eight touchdowns and a 58.8 completion percentage in nine starts.
Given the low expectations for the Titans' offensive line going into this season, Levis might be able to fight off would-be sacks by making opponents gag when they get a whiff of sweat-filled mayonnaise coming out of his pores if he wears the scent during games.
