Gronkowski even had an interaction with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and jokingly talked to him as if he was Brady.
Despite wearing helmets with dark visors, it didn't seem to throw fans off the scent that something was up. Of course, it's hard for the 6'4" Brady and 6'6" Gronk to fully blend in to their surroundings.
Fanatics Fest has brought some of the biggest current and former stars in the world of sports and entertainment together for a first-of-its-kind event in New York City. Notable guests include Brady, Gronkowski, Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, Cody Rhodes, Sabrina Ionescu and Jerry Rice.
Brady and Gronkowski were teammates for 11 seasons in the NFL. They played nine seasons with the Patriots from 2010 to '18, winning three Super Bowl titles.
After Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2020, Gronkowski came out of retirement to join him. They played two seasons for the Bucs, winning their fourth Super Bowl together in 2020.
