Former NFL lineman Gosder Cherilus was arrested Sunday at Boston's Logan Airport after allegedly urinating on another passenger during a flight to Dublin, Ireland, per Mike Toole and Penny Kmitt of CBS News.

He was charged with interfering with the operation of an aircraft, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He pleaded not guilty at a Monday arraignment.

Per CBS Sports, the police report stated that Cherilus became agitated after arguing with other passenger regarding the plane's seating arrangements. An hour into the flight, he reportedly "emptied his entire bladder for approximately 20 seconds" after walking next to an older woman and exposing himself.

Court documents obtained by CBS indicated the flight crew said Cherilus became aggressive when they tried to stop him, and he allegedly hit an elderly man with his hand as he was escorted back to his seat.

Cherilus released the following statement:

"Delta has zero tolerance for unlawful behavior and will cooperate with law enforcement to that end," a Delta spokesperson told Toole and Kmitt in a statement. "We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel."

The plane was diverted back to Boston because of the incident.

"Troopers verbally commanded Cherilus to leave the plane, but he became irate and uncooperative," the Massachusetts State Police said in a statement. "Eventually, Troopers escorted Cherilus to the jet bridge and placed him under arrest."
