Glen Powell has stared down tornadoes and downed enemy fighter jets, but can he master a Cover 3 defense?
Powell will play the titular role in Chad Powers, an upcoming Hulu series that's inspired by a skit from NFL legend Eli Manning. The show provided a first look at the actor in character Thursday:

"Chad Powers" was born when Manning went undercover at Penn State walk-on tryouts for his Eli's Places series.
Deadline's Lynette Rice reported in February that Hulu picked up Chad Powers as a half-hour comedy series starring Powell, who described himself and co-creator Michael Waldron as "diehard college football fans."
"When we saw Eli as Chad Powers, we knew that was the way into a big, fun story about this world," the actor said. "We're excited to be part of this team, and can't wait to get Chad in the game. Think fast, run fast."
The show is centered around Russ Holliday, whose college football career came to an ignominious end. As a result, Holliday adopts the Chad Powers moniker and walks onto a new team.
