Keegan Bradley Wins 2024 BMW Championship, Amazes Golf Fans in FedEx Cup Playoff Race

Keegan Bradley was the last man to make the field at this weekend's BMW Championship. He finished it at No. 1.
Bradley won at Castle Pines after shooting an even par 72 on Sunday to finish 12 under for the tournament, besting Sam Burns, Ludvig Åberg and Adam Scott by a stroke.

"Man, I was shaking over that last putt, I was ready for those cheers," Bradley said after clinching the tournament on the 18th. "We did it. It was a battle all day."

It's been quite the year for Bradley, to say the least. He was named the youngest captain of the Ryder Cup team, at 38, since the legendary Arnold Palmer in 1968. He just became the first Ryder Cup captain to win on the PGA Tour since Davis Love III pulled off the feat at the 2015 Wyndham Championship, aged 51. His victory Sunday bumped him all the way up to No. 11 in the world rankings.
"To be named Ryder Cup captain and still be a full-time player is strange, he told reporters Saturday. "I don't know anyone who knows how to handle this situation, so I'm doing the best I can. The only thing I can keep doing is playing my best golf and maybe play my way on to some of these teams."
At the very least, Bradley guaranteed his spot in next week's Tour Championship, with its $25 million prize up for grabs. He'll have a very real chance to take home the top spot after moving up to fourth in the rankings with Sunday's win.
