Cousins last played in the NBA in 2022. Since then, he's played in Puerto Rico's Baloncesto Superior Nacional league and Taiwan's T1 League. In May, he was named the T1 League Most Popular Player of the Year for the 2023–24 campaign.
A four-time NBA All-Star, Cousins was once one of the best centers in the league. His career took an unfortunate turn when he suffered a torn Achilles in January 2018, which kicked off a run of devastating injuries that hindered him from regaining his form.
Still, Cousins has proved he can be effective in international play, so joining Wuxi WenLv will give him another chance to showcase his skills this year.
