September 3, 2024
Twin brothers Cameron and Cayden Boozer took an unofficial visit to Duke over the weekend.
Their father, two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, was a member of the Blue Devils from 1999 through 2002 and won a national title with the school in 2001.
Cameron is the No. 2 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class, while Cayden holds the No. 18 spot (via 247Sports' Composite rankings). Both players have already received offers from Duke.
Florida, Kentucky and Miami have also sent offers to the twins. They're scheduled to unofficially visit Florida and Miami after Duke, per Jamie Shaw of On3.com.
The brothers attended the Blue Devils' 26-3 victory over Elon on Friday alongside associate men's basketball head coach Jai Lucas (h/t Shaw).
Duke could secure another impressive recruiting class under head coach Jon Scheyer if they choose to follow in their father's footsteps, as 2024 No. 1 recruit Cooper Flagg is already preparing to enter his freshman season with the program.
Cameron is the top power forward recruit in the 2025 class and was named the 2022-23 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year. At 6'9" and 235 pounds, Boozer uses his size to dominate on the glass and operate primarily in the post. Eric Bossi of 247Sports compared him to Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 draft.
Cayden projects as a point guard at the college level with his 6'4" height and ball-handling capabilities. The brothers have experienced immense success at the high school level together, winning three state championships as well as three consecutive Peach Jam titles.

They also helped the United States win gold at the FIBA U17 Men's World Cup in July.
The Boozer twins haven't set a date to make their college decisions just yet, but Duke may have an edge after recently hosting them.
