"Just a reminder that I can play more than 1 position," he wrote in the Instagram caption.

Terms of Hunter's deal with United Airlines were not disclosed (via Nakos). Hunter will be featured in advertising and social media spots for the airline company throughout the year as part of the contract.

The connection between both sides started after the Buffaloes' season-opening win over TCU in 2023. With Hunter playing wide receiver and cornerback, head coach Deion Sanders joked that the team would need a hot tub on the plane for his recovery after the game.

"I don't know how many snaps [Travis Hunter] played, but we'll put a hot tub on the plane for him to make sure he's straight," Sanders said, which prompted a response from the airline (per Nakos).

According to the latest NIL evaluations from On3.com, Hunter ranks No. 4 among all college athletes with a valuation of $2.7 million.

After an impressive 2023 campaign with the Buffaloes, the 21-year-old has picked up right where he left off to begin the 2024 season. Hunter hauled in seven receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns during Colorado's 31-26 victory over North Dakota State on Aug. 29.

He's already drawing NFL attention, as he was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the latest 2025 mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.

In the meantime, Hunter will look to help the Buffaloes get off to a 2-0 start during the team's upcoming clash with Nebraska on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
