He also jumped ahead of former Wake Forest and Notre Dame signal-caller Sam Hartman for the No. 5 spot on the NCAA career passing yards list.
Wide receiver Tez Johnson was Gabriel's favorite target on Saturday, hauling in seven receptions for 110 yards. Running back Jayden Limar also made an impact in the pass game, catching two passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Oregon's defense stifled the Beavers' offense throughout the second half, allowing zero points.
Fans were amazed by the performance from Gabriel and Oregon.
After defeating Idaho and Boise State by a combined 13 points in the first two weeks of the season, the Ducks had much more breathing room against Oregon State as they moved to 3-0 on Saturday.
