Tennessee Titans second-year quarterback Will Levis had another terrible turnover on Sunday, fumbling the football after stumbling and seemingly attempting to lateral the ball to a teammate.

Levis flips it backwards and its a Jets fumble recovery!

📺: #NYJvsTEN on CBS/Paramount+
📱: https://t.co/waVpO8ZBqG pic.twitter.com/nZ38jEOfOo

It was an incomprehensible decision, and Tennessee head coach Brian Callahan was beside himself following the play:

Will Levis just did it again.

He carelessly fumbled the ball inside the 10-yard line.

CBS panned to head coach Brian Callahan, who sure looked to be saying "What the f*** are you doing?"

It was the quarterback's second turnover of the game after he had a pair of interceptions in a 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 1, including what was ultimately a game-deciding pick-six in the fourth quarter.

Boneheaded plays are becoming a theme of Levis' season, and as you might imagine, that had folks on social media bringing the heat:

There's no amount of mayonnaise scented cologne that can hide the stink of those turnovers from Will Levis in the 1st two games of the season

Jarrett Bailey @JBaileyNFL

Will Levis is what happens if you bought Josh Allen off Temu

Mike Greenberg @Espngreeny

That's an unimaginably terrible decision by Will Levis. I can't believe he tried it after last week. For the #Jets sake, it better turn the whole game around.

Ross Tucker @RossTuckerNFL

Will Levis has the Carson Wentz ludicrous turnover gene. 👎

Rich Hofmann @rich_hofmann

Will Levis turnovers are performance art.

Rich Cimini @RichCimini

Will Levis doing Will Levis things, hands the Jets a turnover. Didn't he learn from last week? What a gift. #Jets

It's never a great sign when people are dropping "Carson Wentz" comparisons on you.

Levis, 25, showed promise in his rookie season last year, throwing for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions in nine appearances.

This season, Levis' performance is giving... well, it's giving the ball away, is what it's giving. It's giving Callahan heartburn. Last week it was giving away a win, and it might be this week, too.
