The Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams will face each other on the football field Sunday.

But fans won't have to wait that long to see the respective animal mascots in action.

Mortal Kombat 1 revealed two new Animalities on Monday ahead of the Tuesday launch date for the new expansion, Khaos Reigns. Those two new Animalities just so happen to be a bear and a ram, which will give players the chance to unleash attacks with the two animals.

As the game's official website explains, the presence of Animalities will allow gamers to "morph into your favorite kombatant's spirit animal to annihilate your defeated opponent."

The launch trailer included some Animalities, although the bear and ram are new reveals.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns will be available Tuesday for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch. It will feature a new story campaign, as well as "reimagined stories and gameplay for Klassic Kombatants Noob Saibot, Cyrax, and Sektor, while also welcoming new faces to the Mortal Kombat universe—Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian."

As for the gridiron Bears and Rams, they will be looking to build some early season momentum when they face each other at Soldier Field.

The two sides haven't faced each other since the opener of the 2021 campaign, and there are plenty of new faces on Chicago's side. While Matthew Stafford is still under center for the Rams, Andy Dalton started that game at quarterback for the Bears.

It will be rookie Caleb Williams this time around as he attempts to earn his second home win of the season.
