Trevon Diggs 'Very Impressed' with Malik Nabers After Cowboys' Win over Giants
September 27, 2024
After recording his second 100-yard game through his first four weeks in the NFL, Malik Nabers earned praise from Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs.
Diggs told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo he was "very impressed" with Nabers following the Cowboys' 20-15 win over the New York Giants on Thursday night.

He's a great young player. He's going to be really good in this league. I'm looking forward to all the battles we're going to have." pic.twitter.com/gh0K78GsYc
The Giants aren't hiding that Nabers is their go-to player on offense. He had 12 catches on 15 targets for 115 yards against the Cowboys. The 21-year-old has been targeted 52 times through four games.
Wan'Dale Robinson is the only other player on the Giants with at least 20 targets (38). Nabers is currently on pace to set the NFL record for most targets in a season and tied the record for most receptions.
The Giants have scored a total of six touchdowns in their four games. Nabers has three touchdowns this season. He is the only Giants receiver with more than one touchdown catch.
Even though opposing defenses know where the ball is going when Daniel Jones drops back to pass, they have been unable to stop it. His worst game of the season was in Week 1 when he had 66 yards on five catches in a 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Jones and the offense aren't doing much to help him at this point. His 41.8 percent success rate on passes is the third-lowest of his career. The team's 3.4 yards per rushing attempt is tied for 29th in the NFL.
Nabers already has an argument to be ranked as one of the best receivers in the league. When the offensive infrastructure improves around him, there appears to be no limit to the stats he can put up based on what he's done in just four games.
