Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has changed his Instagram profile picture to an image of him and his eldest son (and teammate), Bronny James Jr., as they sat next to each other for an interview during the team's media day.

When the two step on the court together, they'll be the first father-and-son to play in the NBA at the same time.

LeBron and Bronny James were clearly overjoyed doing a joint interview with Spectrum Sportsnet together as teammates during media day. The most poignant moment occurred when James spoke about watching Bronny play basketball as a five-year-old and noting how he was a special talent even then.

LeBron then got up to do other media engagements, while Bronny stuck around for more questions. The IG profile image notably captures LeBron and Bronny James' handshake as the former Laker got up.

The younger James joined the Lakers after they selected him with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Jovan Buha of The Athletic reported in August that James is expected to be used "primarily in the G League" this year.

Of course, one can safely assume that he'll suit up for the Lakers at some point this season, creating history along the way.
