The 2025 NBA All-Star Game takes place at Chase Center in San Francisco.

It is only the second time in NBA history that the Bay Area has played host to the NBA's showcase weekend.

Oakland hosted the 2000 NBA All-Star Game in which Tim Duncan and Shaquille O'Neal were named Co-Most Valuable Players.

The 2025 event will be a showcase for Steph Curry inside his home arena, and it will also be a chance for West Coast fans to experience a weekend that has predominantly been in Eastern Conference arenas in recent years.

Eastern Conference cities hosted five of the last six All-Star Games with the only exception being Salt Lake City in 2023.

The All-Star Game format reverted back to East vs. West for the 2024 event in Indiana and the same matchup will take place on February 16.

The 2025 NBA trade deadline is February 6 at 3 p.m. ET.

The Mavericks were the big winner at last season's deadline, as they picked up P.J. Washington from Charlotte and Daniel Gafford from Washington to add to the depth around Luka Doncic.

The two moves helped Dallas get through a grueling Western Conference playoff bracket and into the NBA Finals.

Buddy Hield, Patrick Beverley and Bogdan Bogdanović were among the other names that contenders acquired last year on February 8.

Zach LaVine and Jerami Grant are among the potential headliners for this year's deadline.

The Chicago Bulls do not appear to going anywhere, so that could make LaVine available, while Grant could intrigue contenders if he starts strong with the Portland Trail Blazers.
