Quarterbacks might get all of the NFL glory, but the flex positions can be the real difference-makers in fantasy football.

Running backs, wide receivers and (to a lesser extent) tight ends can orchestrate the kinds of big scoring outbursts that decide fantasy matchups.

So, it would be helpful to know where those scoring efforts are coming from ahead of time, right? Well, we're breaking out the crystal ball to get that information and using it to form rankings and PPR projections at each of the three flex positions. We're even identifying and spotlighting a streamer at each spot, too.

Running Back

    19. Zack Moss, CIN (vs. BAL): 13.3

    20. Kareem Hunt, KC (vs. NO): 13.1

Sleeper: Justice Hill, BAL (at CIN)

Few offenses could support three relevant ball-carriers, but Baltimore's might be the exception. Hill might have to take the scraps left behind Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, but there has been enough to keep Hill in the flex discussion. He's had at least six touches in every contest and is at 237 scrimmage yards and a score for the season.

Wide Receiver

    23. Christian Kirk, JAX (vs. IND): 13.0

    24. Dontayvion Wicks, GB (at LAR): 12.7

    25. Brian Thomas Jr., JAX (vs. IND): 12.5

    26. Rashid Shaheed, NO (at KC): 12.5

    27. Jakobi Meyers, LV (at DEN): 12.4

    28. Xavier Worthy, KC (vs. NO): 12.4

    29. Courtland Sutton, DEN (vs. LV): 12.2

    30. Jerry Jeudy, CLE (at WAS): 12.2

Sleeper: Josh Downs, IND (at JAX)

An ankle injury kept Downs off the field in the first two weeks, and he didn't make a ton of noise in his Week 3 return (three catches on five targets for 22 yards). Still, the Colts entrusted him with nine targets in Week 4, and he seized the opportunity with eight receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. That might just be the beginning.

Tight End

    Top 10

    1. Travis Kelce, KC (vs. NO): 13.7

    2. George Kittle, SF (vs. ARI): 12.0

    3. Trey McBride, ARI (at SF): 11.4

    4. Brock Bowers, LV (at DEN): 9.9

    5. Jake Ferguson, DAL (at PIT): 9.6

    6. Dalton Kincaid, BUF (at HOU): 8.8

    7. Tucker Kraft, GB (at LAR): 8.5

    8. Pat Freiermuth, PIT (vs. DAL): 8.1

    9. Cole Kmet, CHI (vs. CAR): 8.0

    10. David Njoku, CLE (at WAS): 7.4

Sleeper: Erick All Jr., CIN (vs. BAL)

It feels like All, a rookie fourth-rounder, might be on the verge of a breakout. He's had four receptions (on four targets) in each of the last three games, and while his yardage has been held in check and he hasn't found the end zone, what happens if one (or both) of those things flip? His involvement makes him worth keeping an eye on.
