Week 6 kicked off with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, and a few fantasy managers may now be playing catch-up.

Unfortunately, several top fantasy stars are on bye this week. The list of unavailable players includes Justin Jefferson, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Kyren Williams and Tyreek Hill.

Even with 13 games left on the Week 6 schedule, managers may need to rely on depth players and streamers to make up any ground. The good news is that some of the remaining matchups are favorable, even for options who aren't top-tier.

Here, you'll find updated rankings and projections for the rest of the Week 6 schedule. All rankings and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.

Quarterback

1 of 4

    Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

    1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 53 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD

    2. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders: 312 passing yards, 1 TD, 48 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD

    3. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: 288 passing yards, 2 TDs, 57 rushing yards

    4. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs, 48 rushing yards

    5. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: 310 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 15 rushing yards

    6. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers: 300 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 21 rushing yards

    7. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys: 345 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 12 rushing yards

    8. Justin Fields, Pittsburgh Steelers: 229 passing yards, 1 TD, 68 rushing yards

    9. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans: 298 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 7 rushing yards

    10. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 23 rushing yards

Top Matchup: Lamar Jackson vs. Washington Commanders

Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders might be the highlight of Week 6. Both teams are firmly in contender territory, and quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels might be the most electrifying in the game.

While Baltimore has had the worse passing defense between these two teams, we actually favor Jackson's matchup a little more. The Commanders have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, and they've also been susceptible to the run.

Washington ranks 31st in yards per carry allowed.

Expect Jackson to once again shine as both a passer and a runner in this one—a game that should feature enough back and forth to make both quarterbacks top plays.

Running Back

2 of 4

    Eagles RB Saquon Barkley

    1. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: 112 rushing yards, 5 receptions, 48 receiving yards, 2 TDs

    2. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens: 148 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 24 receiving yards, 1 TD

    3. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints: 60 rushing yards, 5 receptions, 44 receiving yards, 1 TD

    4. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions: 55 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 48 receiving yards, 1 TD

    5. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons: 42 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 45 receiving yards, 1 TD

    6. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers: 70 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 22 receiving yards, 1 TD

    7. James Conner, Arizona Cardinals: 69 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 23 receiving yards, 1 TD

    8. James Cook, Buffalo Bills: 51 rushing yards, 3 receptions, 28 receiving yards, 1 TD

    9. D'Andre Swift, Chicago Bears: 89 rushing yards, 1 receptions, 12 receiving yards, 1 TD

    10. Breece Hall, New York Jets: 32 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 31 receiving yards, 1 TD

Top Matchup: Saquon Barkley vs. Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have had a middle-of-the-road defense this season—they have allowed the 16th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs—but their offense has been absolutely disastrous.

We're unlikely to see the Browns offense rebound on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles this week. In fact, the Eagles—who are coming off their bye—are more likely than not to get out to an early lead and spend much of the game salting it away.

That's how things unfolded when the Browns visited the Commanders last week, and Washington ended up amassing 215 yards on the ground.

Expect the Eagles to lean heavily on Saquon Barkley this week, even though they may have A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith back in the lineup.

Wide Receiver

    1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: 7 receptions, 118 yards 1 TD

    2. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: 7 receptions, 113 yards, 1 TD

    3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: 8 receptions, 102 yards, 1 TD

    4. Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers: 6 receptions, 104 yards, 1 TD

    5. A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles: 6 receptions, 103 yards, 1 TD

    6. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons: 6 receptions, 91 yards, 1 TD

    7. D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears: 5 receptions, 100 yards, 1 TD

    8. Stefon Diggs, Houston Texans: 6 receptions, 90 yards, 1 TD

    9. Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals: 5 receptions, 88 yards, 1 TD

    10. Diontae Johnson, Carolina Panthers: 5 receptions, 84 yards, 1 TD

Top Matchup: CeeDee Lamb vs. Detroit Lions

With Brandin Cooks on injured reserve, the Dallas Cowboys leaned on third-year receiver Jalen Tolbert on Sunday. He finished with seven catches for 87 yards and the game-winning touchdown.

"Whenever that moment comes, you've got to be able to be ready for it," Tolbert said, per Patrik Walker of the team's official website.

Tolbert may play a large role again this week, as the Cowboys host the Detroit Lions. However, CeeDee Lamb remains Dallas' No. 1 target and should have a terrific outing.

The Lions are potent enough offensively to keep Dak Prescott passing. They also have a secondary that, while improved over last year's, still struggles against opposing receivers.

Detroit has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts in 2024.

Tight End

    1. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals: 8 receptions, 88 yards, 1 TD

    2. Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders: 9 receptions, 110 yards

    3. Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys: 7 receptions, 78 yards

    4. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: 7 receptions, 69 yards

    5. Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers: 6 receptions, 68 yards

    6. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills: 3 receptions, 32 yards, 1 TD

    7. Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles: 5 receptions, 62 yards

    8. Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers: 5 receptions, 58 yards

    9. Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears: 4 receptions, 62 yards

    10. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: 4 receptions, 41 yards

Top Matchup: Trey McBride at Green Bay Packers

The Arizona Cardinals are coming off a stunning comeback win over the rival 49ers. They'll now look to build some momentum in a pivotal matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Expect tight end Trey McBride to be a huge part of Arizona's game plan this week. While the Cardinals have a budding star in rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., McBride remains one of Kyler Murray's most trusted targets when healthy.

McBride returned from a rib injury in Week 5 and caught six passes on nine targets for 53 yards. He could have even bigger numbers against Green Bay, which has struggled to corral opposing tight ends.

The Packers have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to the position in 2024.
